Shaw is owning the time of possession, but we just got a 70 plus yard fumble scoop and score. Outside of that we've only had one possession that was one big 50 plus yard run. We missed the XP.

We are having a lot of success on the ground today. Busted a 40+ run and ended up capping it off with a TD.

I feel that Shaw is slowing the game by using most of the play clock. Shaw also see that their QB has room to run after breaking initial containment on passing plays. WSSU is playing way too tight or should I say sluggish!!

Offense is definitely going through the motions.

The Big Blue win 30-27 over Lincoln. Mixed feelings... On one hand, one goal I was hoping to see from this team was to start winning some games over some of our fellow CIAA cellar dwellers, and we're doing that now, which is good. Means we're crossing over from being "Atrocious" to "Just Bad", which means we're improving!

On the other hand, of our 3(!) wins so far, all of them have seen the Big Blue hold a multiple score lead at halftime only to just barely squeak out the W by the end. Really hope we can tighten that up soon and start working on second half improvements & how to hold onto a lead, because I can easily see that becoming our downfall if we get even a little bit sloppier.

But hey, to paraphrase Lou Brown... "We won a game last week. We win today, that's two in a row. If we win next week that's called a winning streak. It has happened before"

Shaw won 3 of the 4 quarters of this game! I was hopeful for a win but to honest I am not surprised of the loss!
