Norfolk State up 14-0 over WSSU late in the 1st. We've picked up some first downs on Offense. The difference maker here is the Norfolk State O line, this is the glaring difference between FCS and D2 talent in this game. Our front 7 can't consistently hang with this o line.

Benedict had 3 losses last year, and all of them were to Albany State, who lost their head coach in the off-season. I thought JCSU would keep it closer than they did, but I had a feeling that Benedict would be the team to beat in the SIAC this year.Originally posted by LegalRam View PostAllen up 20-10 over LC at half.
Benedict up 29-10 over JCSU late in the 3rd.........
Shaw up 12-11 over FSU at half.
Are LR and Benedict that good this year, or are the top ranked CIAA schools not as good as was expected?
LR was shocking though. I don't follow the SAC super closely, but the last time I checked the SAC board (before the game), the LR guys on there seemed a little doom and gloom about how they thought their season would go.

The 56-0 WSSU lost aside I did see some positives if our coaching is aggressive! We really need to do a better job on defense wrapping up tackles as well as consistent DB coverage. All in all I feel optimistic about our success this season! The championship game is a real possibility and not a pipe dream. Go Rams!!
