New tradition at VSU....
Incoming freshmen get to "run out on the field" before the team the first home game of the season!!! So much fun.....going to be a great new tradtion!!

For alumni, fans coming in the for the weekend for football, be sure to catch our new and improved soccer team on Friday, 5pm hosting North Alabama, and again on Sunday, 1pm hosting West Ga and it is also Senior Day!
A shout out to VSU softball, I understand that in an exhibition game with Florida A&M, winners of the MEAC last year, VSU won 13-1.....Boom!

GSC Champions a year ago, VSU Lady Blazers return with every player from last year, along with a few more to make them the #1 team in the preseason poll!! VSU men picked #2 in the poll having made it to the finals of the GSC Championship last year! It's going to be rockin' in the Complex this season.....SEE YOU THERE!!

Congrats to 7 VSU football players on their invitation to the FCS Bowl. All will play on the National Team(blue) during the game: Henry Pryor, Dallas Baldner, Terrance Bryant, Jordan Germany. Malik Slater, Kevin Battle, Andrew Marshall.
The FCS bowl gives players a chance to show what they can do in front of NFL coaches and scouts and well as agents.

Great job representing VSU and D2 at the FCS bowl by 7 VSU seniors today.
Anchoring the OL was Kevin Battle and Andrew Marshall. On offense, good game for Jordan Germany, Terrance Bryant, and Dallas Baldner. On defense, Henry Pryor and an outstanding performance by Malik Slater. He certainly played like a madman today.
All seven played on the Blue team, which won 18-7.
Good luck to these guys in the future!!
