Great crowd tonight at basketball. The place was rockin'!!!! So much fun......even football was out cheering on basketball!!
It reminded me of the 70's when the crowd would fill the old gym for great Rebel basketball. It was definitely a night like that!

Heard today that former VSU DB coach and recent grad assistant at Alabama is now the corners coach at West Virginia. Doug grew up in Valdosta/Lowndes Co and played for Ken Sparks at Carson Newman. He's a sharp young coach.

Student profile .......Colleen is the co-founder of the new student cheer section, the Fire Pit. This group has reactivated the Complex Crazies at basketball and lead the student cheers at football this past season. Colleen just embodies what it means to be a Blazer fan!

Hopefully, the guys will make a run. We'll see what the girls do. They have had such an amazing season with a new coach who came in with NO time to recruit. She took what was left and really made a team out this small bunch. Injuries will be the Achilles heel, but you just never give up on this group!!
