West Florida returns 5 starters on offense and 6 starters on defense who were listed as starters for national championship game.

On offense the returners are QB, RB, 2-OL and 1-WR. There are multiple OL, WR and RB who started games during year that are returning and numerous transfers at these positions as well.

On defense the returners are NKL, S, LB, 2-CB and DE with multiple players at all positions who started other games during season. Graduate transfer from D1 West Virginia has locked up MLB and leader of D over the COVID fall and spring. Multiple transfers at all positions have been added to team over last year.
