They may not have a choice if they put artificial turf in the outfield but keep grass on in the infield.

Now that the Blue Wahoos are the Miami Marlins AA affiliate the field will be converted to a "new-age synthetic turf that strikingly resembles the real thing." I believe it will be replaced in the off season. The Wahoos and City of Pensacola have signed a ten year deal for use of the stadium so unless there are some deep pocket boosters that really want an on campus stadium I would expect the Argos to continue to play downtown.
