I was going to pm you but I'm thinking the best best sort of rumblings is third hand, because it can't be traced back to the source. So what's the rub? If coach sees it, he should know if it's valid and hopefully address the concern.

It's been only one game but I believe we had just one penalty yesterday, are we now a more disciplined team? Might it be that Coach is anal about the small stuff? If so, I would understand that some players would be uncomfortable with that type of leadership, especially players that performed well in a less disciplined environment. Problem is a college football team can't have selective discipline.

I attended the game. The team looked really good. We made great in game adjustments to ASU’s QB scrambles, leaving them with mostly short to intermediate passes.

Im not sure about our run game. We will definitely have to develop a stronger run game when we go up against better competition.

Roger on the run game. Good at times, but I didn't feel ASU defense was as stout as prior years so I question the run game. Definitely, need improvement.

The lack of success in the run game is concerning. I do like the fact that we kept trying. Are we likely to get better by keeping at it, or is this a personnel issue? As it stands, that will be our Achilles against the big dogs.

Did you all notice that once Bud Cheney got into the game the run game started moving? He ended up leading per carry yardage (6.6) on very few minutes of play.

No mutiny. The Coach wanted more depth this year and went to the transfer portal to get it. The players who produced last year and in practice are still there and several moved into starting positions!
