• Wingate (5-1, 3-1) at Limestone (4-2, 3-1) - Limestone impressed against LR last week, especially through the air. Wingate could have the top defense in the conference but a very average offense. Elimination game in the race for the division crown. I’ll take Limestone by 2 (28-26)
• Emory & Henry (4-2, 3-1) at Mars Hill (3-2, 3-1) - tough one to judge. Similar to the Wingate-LU game, this could eliminate the loser. I like the Lions at home by 8 (28-20)
• Lenoir-Rhyne (5-1, 4-0) at Barton (2-4, 1-3) - Barton seem to be a bit of a sinking ship at the moment. Bears roll in Wilson by 21 (35-14)
• Erskine (2-4, 0-4) at Carson-Newman (2-4, 1-3) - feel good game for the Eagles. I think they get out early and pick up win number 3. CN by 17 (35-18)
• Newberry (5-1, 3-1) at Catawba (1-5, 0-4) - big blowout in Salisbury. It doesn’t matter who is at QB for the Wolves, Newberry is just better at every facet of the game. Wolves by 35 (42-7)

I'm going to go with Wingate by 7. I think they have the best defense in the sac(LR close) but can Wingate's offense find ways to finish drives and score points is the question.

Emory & Henry @ Mars Hill: Ever since the season ended the way it did last season I have been really high on this Mars Hill team, especially with all the returners and portal players we added. Every good team is allowed to have one bad game or off night and that showed against Limestone. The defense is really good but the coaches could learn to rotate a few players in more who deserve to play. Nevertheless, This E&H team is coming for the Sac and they are hungry. This game will come down to coaching and who makes the best adjustments on the fly. Yes, Mars Hill is better overall but The coaches are going to have to coach their asses off if we want to win this one. This is a do or die or as some people say "Win or go home" Every game from here on out is a playoff game for us and we have to play with a sense of urgency on both sides of the ball. Taking MHU by 7 in a classic
