• Everybody picked Limestone, Lenoir-Rhyne and Mars Hill to be victorious. 2 of 3 aint bad.
• Most everybody got Tusculum, Wise and Wingate.
  • 3 people had Emory & Henry winning: cavsfan94, LRBearsfan, and MarsHillU2022
  • Mule, Eagle74 and LRBearsfan had Erskine beating Wise
  • Eagle74 also had Barton beating Wingate in the Bulldog War

Mars hill by 14 (A win would set up a huge game for the division on 11/5 in mars hill)
Emory & Henry by 10 (Unless CN is able to lob it up to #15 every play, Emory seems like the better of the two)
LR by 10 (IF Wingate were to win, that would be it as far as conference for LR correct?? I think that combined with last week is enough motivation for the bears)
Tusculum by 13 (Tusculum is better as long as its not the one that showed up at Wise, again sets up a huge game at mars hill on 11/5)
Barton by 17
Newberry by 10

UVA Wise vs MHU- MHU by 21 Lions need to come out and play with a sense of urgency. All setting up for a showdown next week.
E&H @ CN: Emory and Henry haven't looked too good these past few weeks neither has Cn but I'm going with the home team in this one by 7
Wingate @ LR: Hard to see LR losing two home games back to back. Like the bears to win this one by 14
Erskine @ Tusculum: Tusculum by 21
Catawba @ Barton: Going with Barton by 14
Limestone @ Newberry: pending the wolves not having a hangover after beating LR I'll take them by 14

• Mars Hill (5-2, 5-1) at UVA Wise (2-6, 1-5) - Mars Hill should be all over this one. I'll take the Lions by 20 (34-14)
• Carson-Newman (3-5, 2-4) at Emory & Henry (4-4, 3-3) - Toss up game. I'd like to see the Eagles get back on track so I'll take them by 1 (24-23)
• Wingate (7-1, 5-1) at Lenoir-Rhyne (6-2, 5-1) - Both teams have great defenses. LR's offense is middling, Wingate's offense is not good. Think that's the difference in this one. Hope the LR crowd shows up, could see the fan base be a little deflated the game after a disappointing homecoming loss. Bears by 7 in a game of field goals (16-9)
• Erskine (2-6, 0-6) at Tusculum (7-1, 5-1) - Tusculum win here in a blowout. I'll stick with Massey's prediction of 28. (42-14)
• Catawba (1-7, 0-6) at Barton (2-6, 1-5) - Would love to see Catawba do something here, but they just have the look and feel of a sick dog. Time to end the season for them. Barton by 17 (24-7)
• Limestone (5-3, 4-2) at Newberry (7-1, 5-1) - Limestone are better than usual and I'd love to see them shake things up going into the homestretch. Could actually see this happening..... in the first half at least. Look for Newberry to come out flat, but lay into Limestone in the second half. Wolves by 10 (34-24)

I may change at least one of my picks by Saturday, but here is where I am at the moment.

• Mars Hill beats UVA Wise by 15
  • Wise has played a couple of teams tough this year, but has failed to seal the deal. The Lions are stout on both sides of the ball. Lions should win somewhere between 2 and 3 touchdowns.
• Emory & Henry beats Carson-Newman by 2
• Lenoir-Rhyne beats Wingate by 5
  • There is no way on God's green earth that the Bears lose two in a row between the bricks. ZERO.
• Tusculum beats Erskine by 27
  • 27 might not be enough. Tusculum may have the walk ons in by half.
• Barton beats Catawba by 11
  • Safe to say that Barton has been the most disappointing team in the SAC this year. Luckily they get Catawba this week.
• Newberry beats Limestone by 12
  • I like the Wolves in this game, but can the Saints offense get going again and make it interesting?
