Mars Hill at Limestone: Close game, but I think this is where the undefeated season ends for the Lions. Limestone stays undefeated in the SAC and remains in the playoff picture; 28-24 (Saints by 4)
UVA Wise at Lenoir-Rhyne: Wise are bottom feeders in the Mountain division. LR gets up big early, keeps their foot on the throttle, and starts a pattern of blowing teams out at home following sluggish 24 point performances against inferior opposition on the road; 45-6 (Bears by 39)
Barton at Tusculum: Tusculum are the hot team in the Mountain at the moment while Barton narrowly dropped their first game of the year. I'll take the Pioneers in a close game; 21-20 (Pioneers by 1)
Emory & Henry at Catawba: CatU has been making its rounds of the Mountain division the past two weeks, dropping competitive games to Mars and TU. I think Catawba finally gets that division win before hitting a brutal October schedule. Wingate seemed to humble E&H last week; 27-22 (Indians by 5)
Carson-Newman at Newberry: First team to 15 wins this one in an ugly game. Carson-Newman are probably better than their record says they are, but that Limestone loss hurt. Newberry are in a rebuilding year, but even so only beating Erskine by 7 is a BAD look. Newberry takes it in the graveyard, but don't be surprised if the Eagles get their season back on track here; 16-10 (Wolves by 6)
Erskine at Wingate: Did Wingate make a QB change or was Noah Bell hurt for the game against E&H? It wouldn't matter if they started a Defensive Tackle at QB, Wingate ain't losing this one. Erskine stinks; 41-3 (Dawgs by 38)
