  • Newberry at Ferris State

This will be by far the best team we have faced all year. One thing is for sure, if we spot them 21 points in the first quarter like we did with Albany State this past week, we will get run out of the stadium. I’m proud of this team and the coaching staff and I have confidence that they will be ready for the challenge.

    Go Wolves!

As i've said in a lot of places so far - Newberry has been counted out before and during almost every game this season and apart from one hiccup against Catawba, they have come out on top each time. And the last time Newberry traveled in the playoffs to face-off against the defending national champions it worked out pretty well for the Wolves.

I'm HOPING the Bulldogs are already looking past Newberry and eyeing a potential match-up against Harding/Kutztown... that'll work in Newberry's favor.

The Wolves definitely get to play with house money this weekend. No one expected them to get here. No one expects them to beat Ferris State. Go have fun and shut them up :).

I always root for the underdog when my team isn't involved. So I hope you win Newberry!

Yeah, I bet you're a Newberry fan..lol If Newberry finds a way to keep this close in the 4th...all bets are off. I don't think I've ever seen a team with so many comeback and 1 score wins in my life. How big is the rabbit yall got that foot from? I hate the weather is probably going to impact this game. I'd love to see this in 50-60 degree weather.

If North Dakota State can lose a home playoff game, so can Ferris.. Anything is possible, especially the way this Newberry team has found ways to win game after game.

Part of me wants the Bisons to beat Ferris in the natty, but part of me wants Newberry to keep on riding the wave of good karma for defeating Kentucky State until they lose to Harding.

Great season Wolves but this Ferris State team even with all the players that left last year in the portal would still probably win the Southern Conference championship. They are normally loaded with several Big Ten transfers. Score prediction 48-17. Maybe you guys should go up to App. State and practice for its going to be very cold conditions in Michigan.

Be doing it 3 degree weather this time. Against a better opponent with a better coach. We'll see who shuts up.

No need to attack Newberry's coach, they may lose but they are a class act and well coached. Their fans are great host and they will represent the class act and Grit that the SAC has. It is tough to play a state school as large as Ferris St and expect to win, but they will come ready and play as hard as they can to win.

Too bad the game is not at Newberry. Place would be packed but not so at Ferris. Doubt they have three thousand people there. Sure weren’t many there when they played Minn. State. Sure are a lot of big schools in d2 up north and in the mid west. These guys are bigger than most all the schools in the Southern Conference which is d1.
