GAC Pickem Week 9

HU by 35 (This may be fueled by the fact ECU almost beat us last week.. But also, it is HU we're talking about)

ATU by 13 (ATU has won 2 games now. Make it 3 after this to a struggling SOSU team)

OBU by 10 (I would love to be wrong. But, its OBU. And its SAU. SAU's record in the Boomtown/Murphy USA is dismal to say the least! OBU wins this one to continue its trek to the GAC Championship)

OKB by 7 (OKB is the best Oklahoma School we have. Should get over .500 this week, unless NWOSU surprises me!)

HSU by 17 (HSU looks to be eyeing a very important BOTR, but can't overlook either UAM or SAU the next 2 weeks!)

SNU by 3 (I'm not sure. Just flipped a coin here! SWOSU needs to win this, but SNU could very well win this game!)

I believe in Coach Johnson and his staff! They also have the youngest team in the country and have lost four 1 score games. They played much better against OBU and HSU then they did a year ago. Had the lead on SAU for most of the game. I still stand with my comment saying that they will challenge the top tier teams next year. They will be the best Oklahoma school, and they will be able to beat UAM, SAU, Ark Tech. ECU may go 3-8 this season, and then go 7-4 or 8-3 next year. I really see it happening. They will return 11 starters on Defense and 8 on Offense.

Yeah, ECU definitely has a bright future. I think that Coach Johnson is doing some really good things over there. ECU is just young, and will mature into a good football team.

The only games that ECU lost because the other team was that much better was HSU and OBU and assuming HU this weekend. Every other game, ECU beat themselves. All everyone on this board looks at is the W-L.. You guys don't look at the stats or the team's rosters. Look more into each game and then say yeesh

Not sure why you think Haire will pass on last year eligble. I haven't heard anything to make me think he would not want that time to play. Have you heard some rumors?
OKBU brings back OL and QB Haire's 4 of top 5 receivers. Pretty young team.

We could beat every one, or lose every one. Still gotta go play those games. I'm just not sure the young potential on the team is proven quite as much as you want to think.

HSU beat you by 30 and could have scored 75 points if they had wanted to. OBU also beat you by four TDs.

You're setting a pretty low bar for yourself there.
