The Tigers rebound, Ouachita by 21
The Reddies come out on fire, Henderson by 21
This is not an easy game to pick, but the Tigers seem to be getting better, East Central by 10
I can only see this one one way, SEO by 28
I have picked Harding all year long, so why change? Harding by 17
This shouldn't be much of a game Okie Bap by 28

Where could an upset happen? Maybe SNU, but not really sure that would be much of an upset. Some might think it could transpire in El Dorado. Yes, SAU is a much improved team since we played them, but the Muleriders can't beat the Bisons. Right now the only team that can beat Harding in the GAC is Harding, meaning making mental mistakes that open the door for an upset. Harding seems very focused, so I don't see that happening.

I really wish there wasn't so much difference in the top teams and "the least of these", because having the lower tier improve would likely contribute to the top teams being better prepared for post season play.

I concur about the focus of Harding being laser beamed right now.

You are also so spot on with how an improvement in the strength of the lower tier of teams in the GAC would help all of the teams in the conference to be better. Top to bottom in the MIAA you find more teams that "on any given Saturday" could up and beat others in the conference. No real surprise for a lower team to make a game of or even win over another team in the conference. In the GAC there are teams your school plays where you know that there is a 95-99% chance of victory playing that lower team. It would be a great thing to see improved team performance top to bottom in the GAC.

In recent years Harding has lost to SNU and to SEO in the early part of the year and those were wake up calls to the team psyche. The Bisons answered that call those years. Good competitive games within the conference throughout the season makes for a stronger overall conference.
