I couldn't imagine someone being stripped of their play calling after leading one of the most prolific offenses in NCAA History. Something doesn't add up there. IF that was the case, I would think the Harding Administration would step in.

As a WT fan do we ever feel this and can vouche for this first hand. Now WT is puttering around like a 1983 chevy citation.

There are multiple sides to every story. I don't think everything being said here is exactly accurate. And i'm definitely not going to air any laundry out on here. HU football is going nowhere. They obviously have to replace some very very talented players who were big parts in a lot of wins. That was going to be the case no matter who called plays. That will be the biggest issue this season. Not who is on the headset.

HU will still likely be the favorite to win the league. The defense will be very good again. That will likely be enough to win the GAC. And potentially a couple playoff games.

1) There were people IN THE STANDS at the national championship game literally talking about all this about to happen, so yes, tons of people knew this was going to happen. Therefore, I'd call it a terribly kept secret;
2) I'd say if anyone in this conversation is a "dork", it'd probably be the one calling someone a name when he has no earthly clue who he's talking to;
3) If you want to critique others and be the spokesman on here for Harding football, maybe you should get a clue about what's going on.

I’ve nothing to indicate that Wheaton is retiring. It wouldn’t surprise me but until there’s something official announced with the other upcoming coaching changes I assume he’ll continue to be the Bisons’ Flexbone Consultant.
