Disappointing from a Lindenwood perspective. Our defense stepped up. Our offense was overwhelmed by GV.
Frustrating.....
But overall, (gonna get in my feels), I feel blessed to have the season and I'm happy for our seniors to get another playoff game. Won't take these for granted anymore!
Good luck Lakers!

LU had some unfortunate turnovers or this game would have been somewhat closer. Congrats to them on a great year. Time to move on to next week. Welcome to Big Rapids.

See you next week. Should be good game. Maybe if you win you'll finally stop underachieving and win the national championship for the first time ever. That would make it gv 4 and ferris 1. If you do beat gv then I'll b rooting for you as a gliac fan like I have been for the past few seasons or so. I'm thinking you should put your arrogance on hold until you actually win a championship. I remember as a gv fan when it was clear we were the best program in the country back in the early 2000s. It's a great feeling....but it was even better after actually winning multiple championships. Maybe you'll get to experience that same feeling at some point. You've been likely the best program in the country for the past five years or so yet you got nothing to show for it.
You know, we've moved on from 20 years ago. I mean I know you're holding on to your floppy disks and cassette tapes and still debating Beta vs VHS, but time to move on to the present, don't cha think.

My sports bar contains multiple bad boys pennants and photos. Those were some great teams. Isaiah! Lambier! Rodman! Mahorn! Sally! Buddah! Dumars! The microwave! Thanks for the reminder of the good ole days!
The wine cooler thing was a great dig. We used that quite a bit back in the day. It was normally bartles and James and we all knew a few who didn't like beer and instead preferred that crap. They took a lot of heat for drinking that stuff. Lol
i don't have my 2002 jersey on. I couldn't decide between the 2002, 2003, 2005, or 2006 jersey. I never bought jerseys from our championship loss years. Feel free to wear yours though
floppy disks are a bit of a stretch but quite funny. Those things don't last long. I was pretty young at the time but I do remember the vhs beta thing. My friend's parents had a beta. I think I watched my first porn on a beta back in 85. It was called the graphenberg spot. Vhs tapes somewhat last long as long as they're stored properly. Most people my age converted them to dvds years ago though. I don't have any of my old cassettes but I certainly wish I did. Those things are worth some money now. Not to mention it's nice to have those relics of the past. You'll understand this some day.

Boy did the GVSU defense bring it today. Just incredible in the first half and when LU adjusted with a bunch of quick passes in the second half, it was great to see the D get several clutch turnovers. Shoutout to the special teams too with two blocked punts. Hopefully these units can bring the same level of play (and clutch timing) to Big Rapids next week.
Bryce Young-Walls is carrying the offense right now with his superman-like ability to come up with huge plays when we need them the most. It's been tough to see Peterson wincing in pain the last two weeks before ultimately being knocked out of the game today, but hopefully he can get healed up. We're gonna need him if we want to have a shot to stay with Ferris. I really like Endicott's potential-- huge arm and a tough guy to bring down, but his lack of experience and mobility would be a major blow if Cade can't go.

No excuse if we lose. The odds are certainly against gv
I think you meant "t" top trans am and not "y" top. But anyways another great blast from the past! Ferris certainly educates their kids on the great things from the 80s and 90s.
I don't get the johnny in cobra kai reference tho. I recall daniel beating cobra kai fighters in the karate kid but cobra kai must be a remake or something? I'm too old to know any better.
Anyways I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult your national semifinalist and national finalist banners. I'm sure they are waved proudly in big rapids
