Who is saying they both went over the post? GVs field goal you could not see since the camera was too low, but I thought I saw Mines field goal and it seemed definitely inside the posts.

GV radio mentioned how it looked like both kicks were right over top the posts. GV's on the right, Mines' on the left. I'm just going by what they said. The video feed showed replays of both, but neither angle showed anything definitive.

I remember that game. Saginaw for some reson was not playing with thier 1st team offensive line.

They're going to have to get the ball out quick as their oline was not very impressive against a mediocre Midwestern team. They have the skill athletes to compete, I'm not sure they have that upfront, especially offensively.

I mean nobody had a good look at it. There aren't any seats in either end zone, so the only person with any kind of good angle is gonna be the referees. I think there were maybe 10 people standing along the fence of the opposite end zone, which again, is not a good view.

So considering there's no TV angle, and there's nobody sitting in the end zone the kicks happened in, the best resources are going to be the announcers in the air along the side and also the teams on the sidelines, since they have the closest look. Based on those two things, and the reactions of those two groups of people, then that's the conclusion to have unless there's evidence otherwise. I don't see why you feel the need to be condescending, even on a subject as innocuous as this.

I referenced both the broadcast crew (from both teams), as well as the teams themselves on the sidelines, having certain reactions to the calls. And given that the officiating crew was from the home team's conference, and that the officiating crew blatantly missed three calls in the game in the home team's favor, it sure seems that I'm doing the officiating crew a favor by simply saying not many people had the best angle. My biggest issue with your actions is that you're being a coward and just sub-posting without addressing me directly. You'd rather do a drive-by in a tangential conversation with someone else.

Since this is the gliac board I feel it's important to mention that svsu had four starting lineman out for that game on a hazing suspension yet they still beat the eventual champs. Not sure if you remember that. Unfortunately for svsu (but fortunately for vsu) they lost three conference games (with their starting line) and didn't make the playoffs.
