I'm not sure if there is a way to pay for just FloFootball but my subscription is $150 a year and includes 25 different sports. Flo has WCHA hockey and several other sports I watch every week. It's well worth the price if Flo has other sports you enjoy watching.

My concern is production quality varies wildly—at least over this way. Some schools’ broadcasts are incredibly well done, others still have that camcorder on a tripod vibe where it struggles to keep the football in the frame during a play.

See $10 a month with my totally still an active student's GVSU email is worth it for me, right on the cusp of worth it but I'd pay that.

I go to most home games so it’s just extra annoying that there is no single game purchase option for the 2 or 3 games a year I want to watch online. And the $29 I was referring to was the original cost when they first cut the deal with Flo, but as I mentioned above I hadn’t seen the new price for this year yet. So after my whining, I did subscribe to the student $9.99 monthly subscription (thank you gvsu for keeping those email accounts active forever lol).

Uh, it's still pricey, but it's $20/month for most. Where is this $30 coming from? And unlike the MIAA ($30) one can watch any game.. not just the games in the conf.

I mean it costs you at least 15 bucks to actually go to the game when it's at GV. Much more than that if you go on the road. Considering you're gonna get every game on Flo besides one, 90 dollars for essentially 10 games to watch is 9 dollars a game, plus you get to watch any other GLIAC games if you so choose.

Yea, I miss when it was free, as well, but 9 dollars a game is more than worth it considering what you'd spend to actually go to it in person.

while watching GV beat CS I also watched MTech beat South Dakota Mines in triple OT and also watch some of West Florida of the GSC (they also have all their games on FloSports) as they too are an opponent of GV's in a couple weeks - there's a lot to watch

lmao maybe $150 is “cheap” for the 3 casual fans out there who want to tune in to Davenport vs Michigan Tech soccer.. but again, a majority of GV football fans are only looking to watch football games. Mayyybe basketball. And for D2 schools to offer an overpriced subscription as the ONLY option to watch their games is just silly and bad business to me. I don’t need full access to every GLIAC sport I’ll never watch, small track dirt racing, and semi professional bull riding, and whatever other nonsense is on FloSports

I did just read that the GLIAC negotiated new FloSports subscription prices for this year-- $14.99 a month or $9.99 with a gvsu.edu email address. Still way overpriced (Should be like $5 a month for the public price), but much better than last year's price.

Go back to Youtube like when I was in undergrad please and thank you, I will gladly pay a few bucks a game to watch it there.
Yeah our own AD and the conference try to sell all the exclusive sports and access that FloSports provides but sorry, 95% of your customers only want to watch your football team, maybe your basketball teams. And unless you have a kid playing any of the other sports, you're not tuning in. When we already have to subscribe to Peacock, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Bankrupt Bally Sports, etc just to keep up with D1 and pro sports, asking your small, loyal fanbase to fork over another $30 a month is a shameless cash grab.

I still can't believe the only way to watch GVSU division freaking two football games from home is to pay the completely absurd subscription of $29.99 a month for a product that is zero percent better than what it was before this great "deal" made by the GLIAC. After sucking it up and eating the cost the last two years, I'm out and will be listening to the radio call. Hard for me to imagine this deal has brought in any new fans to GVSU or D2 football and has only irritated the fanbase that was already here. Sigh. Go Lakers.
