One interesting thing I was looking at this morning as I was listening to the show that Wit, Tony, and BD did last night. One person said that Harding's defense was down compared to last year. It doesn't look like that's the case. In all, Harding's team is better than last year besides the categories where you look at the sum of the data collected. So if Ferris wins on Saturday they will request the 2023 trophy from Harding too haha
    TEAM STATISTICS (2023)
    Harding OPP
    SCORING 703 163
    Points Per Game 46.9 10.9
Rushing Average Per Game 410.7 68.8
    TDs Rushing 79 8
Pssing Average Per Game 48.1 178.1
    TDs Passing 9 13
    Average Per Game 458.7 246.9
    TEAM STATISTICS (2024)
    Harding OPP Difference Between Years
    SCORING 667 124 -36 -39
    Points Per Game 51.31 9.54 4.41 -1.36
    Rushing Average Per Game 435.8 70.3 25.1 1.5
    TDs Rushing 71 7 -8 -1
    Passing Average Per Game 70.31 110.9 22.21 -67.18
    TDs Passing 13 7 4 -6
    Average Per Game 506.1 181.2 47.4 -65.7

If you would prefer I can recommend a grocery store where you can pick up some Kleenex for your ride back to Arkansas instead of a place to eat. I would check out Walmart. You will fit right in with the Big Rapids Townies. 😊

I don't think that's a regional thing. Whenever I have had a grinder at a place that touts/sells them, there is something very different/unique about the bread that they use. When that correct bread is used it is NOT just another sub sandwich. It makes things VERY different, and I would say far superior. Seems like the old Mancino's had that different bread style. Haven't had one in probably 20 years so can't say whether that difference is still present/noticeable.

Just yet another regional food chain reference for a sub sandwich. They all gotta make their own to divide us, obviously!

Mancino's grinders are usually baked in their pizza oven. They're a solid option for something to fill you up with. They do pizza, calzones, and wings there as well. Most of them are mostly take out places, but there's some that have seating to eat there as well.

Only team to beat Harding in 2 seasons kept them under 20.. obviously no Harding or Ferris keyboard king has predicted that on here despite the big talk of Ferris defense. So even though everyone in the country knows that Harding is going to run the ball, and run it again, and when they are done with that they will run again (say all the frustrated fans who have faced Harding)

    I take the Bisons 27-17.

Either way. I don't know who will win. I'm just confident it will be high-scoring.

FSU 31 HU 28 - Ferris wins the coin flip and defers to 2nd half - scores on with 30 seconds in 1st half and comes out with a TD to start the 3rd Quarter 14 point swing. 33 degrees and cloudy!!! great football weather this time a year. Hopefully the visitor's heaters work this time. Sometimes broken....
