But if went the other way wouldn’t be shocked. I believe these are the best two teams in the nation both at the top of their game right now and is pretty much a coin flip.
    Harding 38 Ferris 17

Harding has a chip on their shoulder, you could tell in the GVSU game that they’re coming back for the crown, they’ve had that swag to them since Ouachita, but it’s even more apparent in the post-season. This game could be 14-7 or 59-52 but I don’t see that happening. Harding O comes out with a day, and defense lets some big plays through just due to athletes on Ferris’ side, but overall plays well.

    Game Predictions:
    Harding 400+ rushing yards
    Ferris under 150 rushing
    Ferris under 200 passing
Harding gets a turnover early and capitalizes

I think both teams will put up points, but if Harding controls the tempo by scoring quickly or slowly, I think that changes "How" many points each team scores. I think Ferris will be able to score alongside Harding, but if Harding has long drives, the score is low; if they have big plays, they both will score a lot. I say the difference will be one score. If I had to guess I think Ferris' D bends but doesn't break, giving the game's score to be 35-27 good guys.

There’s some context. We’re discussing Flexbone personnel.

I predict the winner will be the team that can play on a ice covered field the best. We are supposed to get 10 inches of snow which Ferris will remove about 9 3/4 inches of it and then let it freeze. Advantage to a passing offense on that field and hard for running backs to cut on the pitch for Harding. That said I am taking Harding 38-35 and that the Harding AD will not have to tear up and apologize this week in the post game. Wish everyone safe travels to and fro. Does anyone know which conference crew will be doing the game?

Yeah, Harding's OLine play is pretty much good enough to get them 2 yards on a simple carry. Its just the read for the pitch or keep that gets them 3 or 4 yards and keeps that offense running like a swiss watch. Its playing assignment football, hopefully keeping them to at most 2 yards a play where they might be forced to have to make a longer pickup to force them to convert or punt. Going to need a get a lot of little wins on drives like that.

If it wasn’t the flexbone, the only other offense this former Olineman is okay with, it’s spread running 21 personnel. Hard nose football it’s the most interesting and shows how good your coaches are and how well coached players are.
