Don't forget about that Chefs/49ers game last week. The field at Camerohead was littered with yellow laundry, which makes watching football on Sunday not worth it.

Coach St. Louis (I think) was definitely in the earholes of the two linemen who got whistled on that play when they came off. Out of eight offensive possessions, that was their only three-and-out. Coming in the first half with the score only 14-0, it could have ended up being a momentum changer.

Through the first three home games MW is averaging 4,712. Through the first three weeks of last season, the average was 3,922. Part of that is just a better slate of games, but I think some attendance efforts are paying off too.

          2018
          1. Ft. Hays State (Home Opener) - 4,503 (cloudy and 70)
          2. Northeastern State (Family Day/Military Appreciation) - 5,514 (fair and 68)
          3. Washburn (Griffs Give Back) - 4,503 (cloudy and 61)

          2017
          1. Missouri Southern (Home Opener) - 3,874 (sunny and 75)
          2. UCO (Family Day) - 4,888 (sunny and 87)
          3. Lindenwood (military appreciation) - 3,005 (cloudy and 62)

Griffons looked really good. Washburn looked slower than I'm used to seeing. Can't figure the league out this year. Seems like we are back to the meat grinder of the miaa. Almost any result could happen.

The team being clearly better is probably paying off, too.
