LMFAO!! Where did you find that picture of my father? He asked who I was and rather than continue the back and forth, I figured I'd see if he wants to meet and shake hands and maybe become friends because we both have a passion for football and especially our lions. It's not like cheering on the Gorillas where everyone in 400 miles is a Pitt State fan. I was trying to move out of Oklahoma a few years back and saw a great price on a house in Frontenac, but the agent told me I had to leave the Gorilla on my front porch. It's part of the neighborhood zoning code.

Sounds like MSSU didn't do their homework! Either that or they are willing to look the other way. Mom and Dad of potential recruits should think twice before sending their sons to play there now.

I think they knew of some questionable passed things, but this guys is allegedly directly culpable for the death of an athlete...

Wow, not a guy I would want my son to play for. First lying about the cause of death to reporters, then not even commenting on it for the story. I would send this article to every parent on the MSSU roster.

With all the attention (deservedly so) surrounding Maryland's fiasco surrounding Jordan McNair's death I couldn't believe I hadn't heard a thing about this incident until today. I hope this gains a lot more national attention.

"Neither GCCC nor Missouri Southern would comment. GCCC would not say if the coach who replaced Sims allows players to drink during conditioning drills. Missouri Southern would not say if Sims allows players to drink water during conditioning there."


This quote is absolutely ridiculous to me in 2019 with all we know about workouts/heatstrokes/etc. This was 100% preventable
