i think bands are allowed to travel, but it's on the school to pay for it. pretty expensive for most schools to cover.

makes sense, school would have to swallow the ticket cost for seats. Plus, could make it hard to allow for players family to get tickets or alumni

The CWU marching band is over 200 people strong. I am sure they would have loved to be there.
