Apparently had a good turnout this summer with 150 in camp. Interesting Browns back to position coaching - Dback coach took another position right at end of July. Think it’ll be a good thing to get him back in a room. Hopefully he’s truly excited and it’s not song and dance for the press.

Pork butt for 1.59 a lb is a heck of a deal too.

Definitely agree. He sounded excited about it. I’m a little more hopeful after this but we’ll see in 3 weeks

The fact that someone convinced 150 kids to move to Hays, KS is a miracle in and of itself.

Planning to be there Sept 7.for the Pitt game.
              Need recommendations where to eat.
Friday will do a little scouting of places to hunt pheasants in November and may look to hunt some doves.

I don't think Hays has restaurants. I think you have to find a farmer who will let you drive a combine in exchange for a meal.

Everyone says The Golden Q so I'll knock that one out. Gella's Diner is also pretty good.

Just kidding. Hays and Pittsburg are pretty much exactly the same size.

The real miracle is that since he’s been there he’s had a 6-3 record against the wannabe powerhouse of UCO with the hicks we’re able to recruit.

Haven’t been back in a long time but if their still open

Pheasant Run has fantastic breakfast. They have limited days they’re open so double check

Golden Q is great bar food. Close to the stadium

Used to be called Tiger Burger but thinks it’s changed names 2 or 3 times is good and close to the stadium with bar food.

Couple of good Mexican spots with Jaliscos in the mall and Cancun close to food.

trio tap house also good and some decent beer selection.

whiskey creek is solid for a steak. Just have always been picky about eating steak at a restaurant.

Sake2me is sushi…. Was extremely wary of sushi in the middle of nowhere but never got sick while I was around
