There's gonna be a lot of unhappy D2 players that go in the portal and realize there might not be near as many opportunities for them as they thought. With roster limits coming down on D1 schools the portal is about to get out of hand.

Absolutely, this 2024-25 High School class is going to take a toll on lots and lots of HS kids either not getting their expected dream offers and plenty who simply will lose out with any kind of offer at all. The downsizing of these D1 rosters is going to create a tsunami of recruiting chaos.

He's the second "one and done" transfer QB for the Hornets this year. Daron Bryden, who came in from Stony Brook and didn't appear for ESU, is headed to UNK.

Take this for what it's worth, but UNK's AD is on record saying that exit interviews went really well and they don't expect many transfers. I've been checking social media periodically, and the three transfers I've already posted about are the only ones I've seen.

If true, it's a good sign about the culture the staff is creating and the buy-in the players have.

It sucks but it is the new reality in this era of CFB. I trust that if AD stays he can fill the gaps through the portal. We’ll just be swapping out guys. The roster turnover year after year has to be exhausting for a coaching staff.
