A few things. You are wrong roll...he threw 3 ints....that 2nd one was called back because wash had a dlineman jump off sides. It was a questionable call on replay in my opinion but, ill take it for sure. It was 6...no doubt about it, dude stepped in front of it, full speed. Noone would have caught him. That would have been 21 points we gave up on turnovers.
in my opinmyn, They are trying to force this kid into being a grown up qb. Ue just isn't there yet. Nothing being taken away from him, he just panics too quick.
I guarantee we could have averaged 7 yards a carry if we ran right at them. Everytime we did that and found that crease, wed cut them deep. We kept trying to run it outside ans sweep type plays and the younger rbs were bouncing outside instead of being patient. Frustrating.

Defense? Lights out. As much as they were on the field, they shut the washburn offense down. Very little was working for them except the quick short slants and dump passes. They even tried a couple of trick plays that went for negative yardage. They played disciplined and hard. It was refreshing to see.

As it stands, we miss another FG and threw 2 ints. That absolutely should not have been thrown. Weve got to get the rbs to figure out how to keep digging inside on the off tackles instead of trying to break out on the sidelines. Too many fast players. This isnt highschool anymore.

If you look at the yards it really wasn’t close. I think we had like 500+ to their 250ish. That first pick set them up like 1st and goal, tough spot to put the defense in. You’re right, I think Creasey just panicked and made some Freshman mistakes which is to be expected. Northwest is another animal though so he better figure **** out this week.

I can confirm Washburn sucks. We did everything we could to let them steal one and honestly even when they went up 28-24 I was never worried. I think everyone knew it because even our announcers were calling us 2-0 in MIAA play at the start of the 4th quarter. Lmao

Feels good to win 3 straight over the ‘Bods. UCO now 9-5 all time against Washburn and AD continues to make them his *****. AD moves to 9-1 all time against them.

Every game this week was closer than I expected.

I think the bods need to stick with Hurla.

I agree the MIAA overall is “trash” in that the league clearly isn’t dominating D2 anymore. However, there is more parity in the league than ever. Any given Saturday anyone can win.
