      READ THE QUESTION.....

What private school blows awaythe State schools consistently in football??

I am a ND fan....they are a roller coaster ride. Usually decent, rarely great since the 80s.

TCWho? Last year #9....2016 they were 6-7....HARDLY blowing away the big boy state schools.

Stanford, ok under Shaw the past 6 years, they SUCKED before that.

Vanderbilt has the same number of SEC titles as South Carolina.

What's ACU's record since they made the move??

I really wouldn't go there if I was you. SC Gamecocks lead the series 23-4.

ACU did better with D2 holdovers after making the jump. Hopefully, excitement of new stadium will get them to a .500 program. But, we shall see. Angelo State game will be a water mark as to where the program is at present.

ACU got 2 wins last season over fellow D1 juggernauts Incarnate Word and Houston Baptist. They take their 6 game losing streak against Baylor in Waco for their opener. Right now they are predicted to lose 49-8.

Vanderbilt was used as reference to show how poorly the majority of private schools do in D1 FB competition. Your good at looking up stats, so how many D1 private schools in the P5 actually have a winning record over the last 15 years? My guess would be I could probably count them on both hands.

Correct! You can count them on both hands and I would hope so since there are only 13 P5 private schools. (and that includes BYU and Notre Dame). Since you're interested, over the past 15 years 9/13 schools have a winning record.

Better than I thought. How about in conference winning records so as to weed out the FCS weak sister games?

TAMU gets a pass for now since they are so new to the SEC.
