And don't forget that good ol southeast wind that could really be blowing hard as April and May are the windy season down here. And full of humidity too which regardless of the wind, will be a factor because of the recent rainfall. Unless the wind direction comes directly from the west or southwest off the mountains in Mexico because that will pump dry and hot air into the region. If that occurs, usually this time of year it will put the temps way above 100.
I recall back in in the early 90's when we played Western Colorado in the playoffs down here and those poor guys were dropping like flies in the second half because we had one of those humid and windy November afternoons. But if you have ever spent time at 10,000 feet in Colorado ... they get to laugh at us sea level people too. Last summer we went to Breckenridge and made the mistake of not staying in Denver or a lower elevation for a day to get accumulated and went straight to the lodge for which our condo was up three flights of stairs with no elevator. Holy crud! Took me two days to get adjusted.
