ENMU only has 32 upper class players on the squad only 7 seniors 10 Juniors 15 sophomores.

I am over the moon that they are even 3-3 at this point if they take the wheel.... crazy

There are ALOT of freshman getting significant time..

Wt also has 7 seniors - Wt has 89 freshmen

Unless you are into mediocre Hughes should be shown the door regardless of the outcome of this game. He has been at the helm long enough to see what his product is going to be. Average at best with no sign of showing he can lead a team to take the next step. Of course at this point just let him hang around another three years to see if he can hold these freshman together and have a breakout season. MAYBE

I think the Hughes termination is being delayed at least a couple of weeks until WT receives that 4th loss.

Should MSU have fired Maskill if EMNU won in OT earlier this year?

Ummmm....NO, but Maskill proved himself with a 142-55 (.736) record as HC at Midwestern (*cough, cough*).

AND "IF'S" don't count in football.....plus he DIDN'T lose.

IF WT doesn't win out, it's another mediocre year. So, let's hope Hughes leads them to the dubyas.

Food for thought.....Nesbitt was .595 and was fired in 4 years. Hughes is .526 thus far and in his 5th season.....
