WT beats the 2 most likely playoff representatives from the LSC. No playoffs.

Midwestern State wins the LSC which was unlikely. They may not make the playoffs even with a division title and wins over Angelo and Commerce.

Commerce falls flat and go back to being average.

Angelo finishes with a #2 seed overall in the region without a division title.

SR4 as a region is wide open without a favorite.

Well as noted in several other threads...

I drank the yellow koolaid....a WHOLE pitcher of it. There was lots and lots of preseason talk from coaching staff, players, and Alum about making a NC run.

My preseason prefictions:

TAMUC 10-1 winning the LSC. They didn't.

Angelo 9-2 was going to shock this year. They did.

MSU Texas at 8-3. They finished 7-4. But their LSC play shocked me.

WT 6-5, they finished one game better 7-4. Basically as expected.

UTPB would surprise a few teams and would be much improved. They did shock a few teams.. But not as improved as I thought.


I figured two playoff teams:
TAMUC 10-1 (loss to Angelo)
?????Angelo 9-2 (losses to CWU & WT)

I missed the marks this season. Oh well. 707

You HAVE to win the games you should win (UTPB and WOU) and pick off a few you are not supposed to win (ASU and MSU), if you want to play post season. Right?
