You are correct. (you know how much it hurts to agree with you) I was told by a Coach, of a mid-major, that it would be a very good year if they won the conference, the conference tournament, and one game at the dance. That's hard for me to understand. Of course, his paycheck helps. One of the good things about D2 is your team can "win the last game."

I assume you aren't counting Houston and Memphis out of the American? Both have Final Four runs and are also in this year's tourney.

At what cost to the students? I wonder what the cost per hour at ACU is now compared to the last year of D2. The upgrade in facilities at Wt was not cheap. Fees have increased.
IMHO, D2 is a good situation for a lot of universities.

What about that team in Spokane then? You know the one with a 1 seed in the last two tournaments? Like was said though about UConn, they had to make a long term investment in facilities, travel, and coach.
