I’m at the game right now, it’s mostly scheme that’s killing mines, pound for pound, they can hang, it’s a lot of ineffective play calling. Hopefully they adjust at halftime.

I'd love it if they did the playoffs a little differently. I know we break it down by region, but I'd love to see the brackets set up by a final ranking. I agree about Mines possibly not looking like the #2 team, but Ferris had a lot to do with that. Just going by scores, I'd say the 2nd best team was probably Grand Valley or Pitt.

I looked at the numbers, and Mines looked a bit better than Ferris. HH winner at QB, the usually successful Zeeman, a very good defense. However Ferris has big game experience, a great defense, and a lot of speed on offense. I thought Mines would score a lot more, but I had Ferris' score about right.

Ferris made a lot of stupid mistakes but still won big.
