Four of the 11 defensive 1st team were from the Lone Star Conference. That's pretty impressive and makes it understandable why there was some valid discussions about who was the LSC Defensive player of the year.

However, you have to wonder why Matocha of Mines was not on either list as the QB.

Sort of biased spin on the news? There were other Lone Star guys who made the list, too! But us GNAC folks are proud of our guys! Interesting Rogers made the list without even making the All-Region list, which he should've too.

I gotta admit, old habits are hard to break, I was just looking at GNAC guys and forgot to look for Lone Star. Been on this board for years as a GNACer; really glad Lone Star accepted us, just tough to break the cycle of looking for GNAC news. Props to all Lone Star players who received honors.
