Matocha would not be denied. Drives Mines to a game-winning FG from 41 yards with 2 seconds left.

That CWU secondary lived up to the hype shutting down the WSU pass game. But on the other hand, looks like that young D-line was able to hold together until halftime when the WSU rushing attack finally wore them down. Interesting how often they used McGill rushing the ball at QB. Could it be a matter of WHEN, not if he replaces Lemming at the starter? And what was up with Flanagan getting more reps than Henderson at running back?

Lemming sure didn't look good, maybe he'll shake the rust off. If not, McGill looked decent.

The dual threat quarterbacks have always seemed to play best for Central. Thinking Jake Nelson, Reilly Hennessey. Lemming simply does not have the consistency to be a pocket passer at this level. But of course it's unfair to judge just based on that game against a good FCS team. Next week will reveal a lot more.

Grand Valley fans are in a quandary. They cant blame Matt Mitchell anymore for losses.

Should be an interesting rematch with Angelo. Mines wins that game and gets by the road game at Pueblo it will be smooth sailing for them for the #1 regional seed.

Lemming’s the old school QB- big guy with a big arm. Not many teams run an offense like that anymore.

Our friends in Commerce got a late TD but still lost 10-48 to Cal Davis in front of an announced 4400.

WT goes for it on fourth down in their own territory and gets it? Scratch that, they didn’t get it.

Get a stop, but draw the unsportsmanlike penalty. Need to nip that in the bud

                        Cost us 3 points.

Amos Coleman erases Mesa’s lead with a kickoff return TD. 10-10 now.

CJ Odom looking good so far. Don't know if cavazos was shaken up on the INT. Kannon Williams needs to get the rust off.
