Western Oregon vs Eastern New Mexico – Can Western Oregon go into Portales and get a win or does ENMU stay undefeated?

UT Permian Basin vs Southwest Baptist – Can Permian Basin travel to another out-of-conference school and get a win this week? At least they’ll be playing down in elevation rather than way up.

Midwestern State vs West Texas A&M – The all-time record between these teams is Midwestern at 12 wins vs WT at 11 with WT winning the last three. Will WT get their 4th in a row and tie up the all-time record, or will Midwestern break the streak in Canyon?

Texas A&M Kingsville vs Western New Mexico– Will Kingsville keep it rolling, or might there be an upset in Silver city?


Angelo State vs Central Washington –Will Central Washington get demolished or will there be a different team waiting for the Rams in Ellensburg?

I think there will be some good games this weekend and hopefully some questions will be answered. Maybe there will even be an upset or 2.

Hopefully Kingsville won't be one of the teams that gets upset. Hopefully they can can take this chance against a weaker opponent and get things sorted out on offense.

LSC Pickems Week 3 Results

Angelo State vs Central Washington - 81% of pickers thought this would be a win for Angelo. I think this number would have been lower had Central Washington not lost to Montana Tech, but Central surprised most everyone with the upset.

Western Oregon vs Eastern New Mexico – I think a lot of people thought this one would be close, judging from the fact that the picks were almost split down the middle with Western Oregon actually getting one more pick than Eastern. They were right about it being close with Eastern taking this one by a point.

UT Permian Basin vs Southwest vs Southwest Baptist - It looked like there was little doubt Permian would win this with them getting 81% of the picks. I expected this game to be within two touchdowns, but Permian made Southwest Baptist their second blowout victim.

Midwestern State vs West Texas A&M – I think this was a hard pick for most since picks for this game were almost 50/50 with WT getting one more than Midwestern. My best guess was a defensive, low-scoring , close game, but WT was able to get the shutout win.

Texas A&M Kingsville vs Western New Mexico – With Kingsville coming into Silver City with two good wins under their belt, almost everyone thought they would get this win as they did. Only two people picked Western New Mexico.
