  • CWU @ Bemidji State

    Wow.

    Thoughts?

Weather looks to be decent, high of 25 and low chance of snow.

The CWU D has been amazing.

Will Flanagan be back? If the defense can play like they did today they have a good chance.

Is it set in stone that CWU will travel to Bemidji?

Here's a weather forecast in case anyone (like me) wants to obsess over the MN cold this week:

I'll be curious if being at altitude messed with his injury to the point that he couldn't go. Depending on what the injury is, the cold could also be a factor in whether he can go this coming week.

Balmy! No precipitation, high of 28. Only 12° less than the high in Ellensburg.

Not many thoughts, other than Bemidji is going to win.

It should be a very low scoring defensive battle. Good luck to CWU.

Why was this even a question? Aren't they the higher seed anyways? The CWU game recap says host is still TBD.

Yep and we thought UTPB would win over Bemidji too...

Bemidji is favored and probably has the best chance to win but Central Washington's defense should keep them in the game.

I think the winner may need to score more than 16 points this week.

I don't think they seed beyond the top 4 teams anymore. It's more about travel expense on the first set of matchups.

Had a fun time at the game yesterday. It was the first clean game on both sides of the ball that I've seen this year. CWU defensive line was dominant. Young quarterback grew up in that game and it should be a massive confidence boost for him going forward. Not sure how hurt Tyler is seemed fine on the sideline. My bigger question is what's the status of Tre'jon? If CWU has all 3 RB's health they could make a long run in the playoffs especially in cold weather. Pass heavy teams fall apart in cold weather.
