Nah. Dude "only" had 3183 passing yards and 36 TD this year, wayyy down from last year's numbers. Zach Zebrowski from 11-1 Central MO has 4732 yards, 56 TD/5 INT. Had 615 yards and 8 TD vs Emporia State!!!!! Clear offensive favorite, but Tanner Volk has to be the defensive favorite and at least a finalist this year with his INT/tackle numbers

Definitely good to see Hrncir and Volk on the list. They both had great seasons.

With only 2 out of 10 players on the list being defensive players, it says a lot about Volk.

Everyone knows its Woodhead's to lose. But, were they to give it to someone else, I'm voting for Volk. Because, defense.

Anyone know when a defensive player last wont the Harlon Hill Trophy? Not a trick question, I honestly don't know. But, and I follow D2 ball; there hasn't been anyone this year who has done more to get his team where they are than Mr. Volk. I hope he gets what he rightfully earned.

Oh, and we will need the new QB to step up tomorrow, I'm confident this young man has the tools to do so......And, the defense needs to keep up what its been doing.

My Christmas wish this year is a win tomorrow..
