  • 2024 LSC Non-Conference Schedule

I thought I would start a thread on all the LSC teams non conference opponents.

Most of the 2024 schedules aren't out yet.

I looked through most of the D2 and FCS schedules and tried to find some of the non-conference games this way.

Let me know if you know of any games that are missing here.

Interesting that ENMU decided to play Sul Ross twice.

    West Texas A&M:
    9/5: @ Colorado Mines
    9/14: vs. Western Colorado

    UTPB:
    9/7: @ Colorado State-Pueblo
    9/14: vs. Adams State

    Western Oregon:
    9/7: @ Idaho State
    9/14: @ Cal Poly

    Eastern New Mexico:
    8/29: @ New Mexico Highlands
9/7: vs. Sul Ross (play twice, this game is considered non conference)

    Central Washington:

    Western New Mexico:

    9/7: @ Adams State
    9/14: vs. New Mexico Highlands

    Texas A&M Kingsville:
    8/29: vs. Colorado Mesa
    9/14: @ Mississippi College

    Angelo State:
    8/29: @ Fort Hays State
    9/7: @ Emporia State

    Midwestern State:
    8/29: vs. Missouri Southern
    9/7: @ Western Colorado

    Sul Ross:
9/7: @ Eastern New Mexico (play twice, this game is considered non conference)
    9/14: vs. Wayland Baptist

This isn't for this season, but it looks like CWU is opening at Montana in 2025 per the Grizzlies website. If both teams sustain their momentum from 2023 through this coming season, that could be pretty interesting to watch.

I think we also have Colorado Mesa at home
Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?"

Yeah I remember that it was a home and home agreement.

Thanks for the information and makes sense since WO tends to stick with LSC schools and UTPB found their other games.

I will post when either school makes it official and edit/update the original as more news comes in

Bumping this up to the top.

Slowly starting to fill in the non conference schedules.

Kingsville is rumored to be playing Mesa in Kingsville.

Angelo rumored to be playing Ft. Hays and Emporia.

Havent heard a thing about Central Washington or Western New Mexico's second game.

Several RMAC schedules havent been released so assuming a few of them might fill the holes.

              Any additional rumors to add?

Is the Emporia game in San Angelo?

                  I honestly have no clue.

The few people I talked to have just said its a rumor and not set in stone.

Angelo, Ft. Hays, and Emporia havent released the schedule on their websites and nothing on twitter (X) to indicate either way.

It makes me nervous not to see CWU's schedule by now. Makes me think we're still trying to find an 11th game. I expect an FCS game to be in there annually since we need that money.

Hats off to WT and WOU. WT has a great "games that count" schedule. WOU has a great "games that help the pocketbook" schedule.

I have been looking through the FCS teams on the west side of the Mississippi and not finding much there either.

My guess would be Lincoln, CA and another NAIA team with an off chance they were able to schedule an RMAC team.

Your comment, while a possibility, doesn't make me any happier. haha

                          Just doing the "schedule math".

RMAC has 4 openings remaining and the LSC 6 openings.

Colorado Mesa (2): One of them rumored to be Kingsville.
                          Colorado State-Pueblo (1):
                          New Mexico Highlands (1)

Angelo State may play 2 MIAA or 1 MIAA/1 RMAC (Pueblo?) school for their 2.
Would make sense for New Mexico Highlands and Western New Mexico to play again.

Wild card is how Central Washington decides to go. Would make sense to schedule a game with Mesa since that would be a close as any D2 game out there.
