Can't disagree with this poll. I might switch MSU-Texas and WT but that is on past history and a who cares switch.

I could've been convinced that CWU wouldn't get the top bid and they'd give it to UTPB based on last year's convincing head to head battle. But maybe UTPB loses more than I thought............and I do think CWU will be scary this year.

I also want Western Oregon to play spoiler for everyone except CWU. They always have such an uphill battle each year.

UTPB had a lot of coach churn. I believe a few of the new key coaches have NO coaching experience.

I talked at length with a WT coach, and he could not say enough good things about the CWU coaching staff, team, and program. He was extremely complimentary.

PB lost their offensive coordinator and now have (I think) three assistants who were players last year.

Lost 4 games last year by 14 points. Need to flip those type games this year. I think Lynn is a good coach. He has good assistants. I think year 2 will be better than year 1. Let's revisit this in December.

WT draws the bye with Sul Ross on opening night, then has CSM, Western Colorado, and CWU. That sounds a lot like 1-3 to me. WT should be able to take WNMU, and maybe a couple of other teams. I'm thinking 4-5 wins in 2024. I hope I am wrong. I sure was last year when I picked WT to win 7, thinking most any head coach would be better than Hughes.

After losing to Simon Fraser a few years ago I dont even think Canadian High School would be a bye to WT these days.
