While that might ultimately be true, the next two weeks are as tough as they get in this conference.

6 drives ended on downs or a missed FG. kingsville had another game this season where Garza was bad and it cost them, I don’t remember which one (and I’m too tired to look it up right now).

Angelo coaching staff isnt going to let their team take WT lightly.

Only way I see WT winning this game is if Angelo loses to Western Oregon and then mailing it in the last game of the season.
    Exactly!

I didn't think WT stood a chance tonight.

His win total potentially increases from 3-5 in his second year.

They found a way to win a game falling behind early and coming back to dominate EMNU.

They found a way to come from behind late in the game against Kingsville.

Last year they would have lost both of those games this year.

I wanted to see 6-7 wins but it is what it is.

The path stays the same where contend for a playoff spot year 3 with 7-8 wins and contend for a conference championship in year 4.

Hunters 5-6 last year were epic collapses to ENMU, WNMU, and then the Simon Frasier collapse where the team quit.
The bottom line is Nesbitt, Hughes, and Lynn have all sucked at WT.

Old Tom never played for Dallas, but he won 2 Super Bowls in just 29 years! ;)

Yes. Hughes would have won MORE games than Lynn in the last 2 years. Should Hughes have been fired? YES!

The Peccaries were generous tonight - they should have won easily.

    Hughes
    2017 - 3-8
    2018 - 6-5
    2019 - 8-3 (most WT wins since 2013)
    2020 - COVID
    2021 - 7-4
    2022 - 5-6

How is Lynn any better than Hughes? I am all ears.
