  • 3-star RB Jayshon Limar To WOU

Jayshon Limar, the #23 2025 recruit and the top unsigned recruit in WA, a Seattle Times red chip recruit ,and a 2x 4A State champion, has committed to Western Oregon. He previously held several power 5 offers but injuries and coaching staff changes likely caused those to vanish. CWU also offered him but they already had a loaded backfield, and WOU is known for also having a strong run game where he should flourish.

This is a huge get for WOU. Let's hope a competent QB and OL supports his development.

That Bothell dual-threat QB should be a good pickup too. WOU will have a very similar rushing attack as CWU in the seasons to come. Should be exciting matchups!

Thanks for the info, huge pickup for the Wolves, who I believe graduated Loggins, a fantastic RB the last couple seasons. Two pretty good QB's already on campus. Looking forward to the Fall.

Here is a great story on him and his recruiting: https://www.si.com/high-school/washi...n-01jpkf86h7zw

This injuries really hampered his recruiting and by the time he put together a good senior season, it was too late and the division 1 schools had already moved on. So if he can stay healthy, he has the talent of a power 4 running back and might be playing instantly as a freshman. He will also have the luxury of playing only 1 hour from his older brother who plays for the Ducks. I wonder what his parents will do when both kids have home games on the same day!

Excellent story, thanks. Seems like a good guy, not bitter about his recruiting process, but making the most of his opportunities. I've always felt coach Ferguson and staff recruit well.

He could've gone JUCO route especially if it doesn't count toward his eligibility. So I am actually surprised he didn't but also glad that he has respect for the DII level and WOU. Him and Viars are going to be a great duo for Western.

An OT observation....It appears when a thread is created on the LSC board regarding the PNW teams, very few LSC posters engage.

CWU & WOU ARE members of the LSC and in .y opi ion, welcomed members. Both bring a great deal to LSC football, and their posters bring a huge amount to the LSC board.

Now, on to Limar....I believe that is a phenomenal get for WOU. He is going make an immediate impact. If the OL can win in the trenches, you may be looking at an offensive FOY candidate.

Thanks for the shout-out and for taking us in under your wings. Glad we could give you another national playoff team these last 2 years.

In all fairness, I don't pay attention to the Texas teams threads either.
