  • CWU Rodeo Bowl!

Today CWU plays in their Rodeo Bowl game to kick off the Ellensburg Rodeo. BEST RODEO TOWN in the Lone Star Conference. Yeah, I am saying it. I'll be at the pre rodeo Clay Walker concert tonight after the game too, then going to the rodeo tomorrow night.

Sounded good but too hot to play home day games this early in the season. I can stay home and bar-b-que. Enjoyed the game but would have enjoyed below 80F even more.

Unless you send us pics of you on the back of a high kicking angry snot blowing 1800 lb bull I'd have to respectfully disagree about your BEST RODEO claim.

At the very least, I am giving you a chance to prove me wrong.

I totally agree! It was far too warm at the stadium to enjoy football. The hot weather was scorching, and I should have stayed home. Left at halftime to rehydrate and came back after the game was over to retrieve my old Firetruck…

Must have been 110° or more. That is when we start feeling the heat at a football game.

Eh, the closest I've gotten to a rodeo was experiencing an Amish traffic jam (being caught behind a horse-and-buggy).

I thought rodeo was boring until I sat at the rail. Changed my mind real quick. Sort of like hockey, sort of interesting on tv or seats up high. Up close It's personal, completely different. Exciting Exciting Exciting.
