Looks like Army dominated the stats but had 3 turnovers.

I really thought Army was pulling away when they went up 24-10. Texans battled back and seemed to be able to move the ball when they had to.

Army FG kicker didn’t help them out either. But, as my old HC used to say the game wasn’t won or lost on a handful of plays. It was the sum of the total.

The sum of total was a remarkable win for Tarleton who not many gave them a chance. 14 point dogs


I’m thinking ETAM doesn’t get this close to SMU. We shall see.

10-4. They had their roots in the LSC and were typically stout competitors. I always wanted them under the hoofs of the Rams in competition, but wish them well as an institution. The moves they have made seem to have worked well for them overall. I think Angelo has made the right moves as an institution for themselves also to this point.

I didnt know it was no TV but wow just few years ago WT Buffs were playing some good games again Tarleton, now Tarleton has reached new levels and WT is wallowing in D2 playing Sul Ross and Western NM type schools. Tarleton was paid $250k to play Army. WT could use that kind of cash. East Texas played SMU and this week Fla St, another big pay day.
