He most certainly is a bigot.

I see you had to edit that sentence a few times.

Wendler is sued, along with 14 others, by a professor who agreed with him. Evidently word got out to the rest of the faculty, who had given Wendler a vote of no confidence.

Too bad we have to wait until September 1 for Wendler to be gone.

Did any of you attend the recent WT Alumni gathering at the baseball park in Amarillo? I don't remember getting an invite. I saw a picture of Wendler wearing a Sod Poodles jersey.

I wonder if he will attend the Western Colorado game in Canyon on August 27th? He will still be under contract then. Imagine what the crowd reaction would be if the announcer mentions it's Wendler's last game as president?

Has anyone heard about potential replacements? Optimist Prime, did you throw your hat in the ring? You would be a giant improvement.

There will be no names being floated. College Station will pick the new president behind closed doors, and without outside opinion, as they always do. Mothership knows best. Whoever they put in Canyon, that's who you've got, until they move on or retire. An ambitious visionary who also happens to like athletics is probably a 10-20% shot.

Can't say I disagree with him on that point. The mantra of the women's movement has been "we are more than sex objects," and in drag, we have men dressing up and acting as female sex objects. There's a lot of weird ironies in our society these days. A friend of mine's daughter was in some sort of "pro life" march in Denver for some endangered animal, and shortly thereafter she was in a "pro choice" march for abortion. Figure that one out.
Not really that difficult to "figure out" how one could support each of these. When humans become endangered rather than over populated let me know.

We have a new interim president.

Dr Terry said he will not seek the position permanently.

It appears that finding a successor is not a high priority, but I prefer that to Notso Sharp deciding Wendler would be the only candidate for the job.

I don't know that Wendler cared about athletics whatsoever, so anything will likely be an improvement.
