NSIC teams in the news

Hello-
Just wondering if other than this board and local news outlets, are there any good subscriptions or websites to view in NSIC football. We know many local athletes who are playing in the NSIC And would like to follow those teams.

Only local newspapers for each team. At one time the Sioux Falls Argus Leader had one writer dedicated to USF and Augustana and he penned great NSIC stories, then the budget cut axe fell sending Augie and the Cougars to 3rd page blurbs.

Your best bet is going to be local newspapers or official team websites. You'll get a varying degree of reporting about the local teams from both.

I usually look at the School's athletic or football team twitter page too. I miss John Caspers sports coverage for the Winona Daily News he always did a good job.

Minots reporters usually do a great job of covering the local teams.

local papers all cover the NSIC pretty well. Could be better, on just more general interest stories, but budgets are tight so I can understand that.

For example, if I ran the Marshall paper, we'd already have 7-8 stories ready to go for football on Sauter, Gimbel, Ney, Carter Kirk, etc.

Start running them in August
