A win is a win, but the Warriors better figure out how to tighten up the pass defense or it could be a long year. Not to take anything away from Wayne, but there seemed to be a lot of break downs in the defensive backfield.

Burke seemed to do well tonight. Started a little slow, but got it going when the running game got started. Happy to get a week-one win, but I'd imagine the coaching staff will have a lot of notes after this one.

What happened? That score had my jaw wide open.

CSP goes up 4 with a fg...30 seconds left...big return to roughly midfield. 3 passes later they allow a deep crossing route as time is expiring. Receiver gets through 2 bear defender's for the TD and the win

Just got home from the Bob. Holy cow, what an exciting end to the game! Well, if you're a USF fan anyway. I'm hoarse from screaming.

First off, major props to Concordia. They came to play. Their new quarterback is the real deal. Great arm and really elusive in the pocket. Both lines played very physical. Overall I thought they looked improved from last season. If they don't let this loss deflate them I think they'll win some games this year.

Second, I'll take the win but frankly the Coo got lucky. Three turnovers and horrible special teams decisions nearly lost them this game. We'll have to really tighten things up this week because Winona won't let us get away with these kinds of mistakes.

That being said, it's a great day to be a Cougar. I'm going to celebrate the victory.
