Not sure how WSC isn't at least getting some votes. MSU-Mankato going up after this past week is surprising as well.

Keep in mind MSU has been at #4 in the Coaches Poll here. #5 in ours.

I personally had Wayne ranked in my poll this week, but we noticed a lot of teams in the 0 to 1 loss area and plenty of the unbeatens hadn't been ranked yet. That can be seen in the teams in the 26-30ish area too. Emporia has lost to top teams and plays in the very tough MIAA..whereas Angelo has recent history on their side as a top 10 for a good bit. Teams who've proved to be a top 10 take longer to drop than new risers.

Zero goals scored in the history of the hockey program vs. a bajillion goals scored in the history of the hockey program.

Haven't been able to watch many Augie games this season, but who have they beaten this year that has been an impressive win? Their opponents are a combined 11-25 on the season. I understand they can't control their opponents records but i guess we will find out a lot about them over the next 5 weeks as their schedule is back loaded with some of the best teams in the league. Their next 5 opponents have a combined record of 20-9 and they have 3 of those games on the road. So either they will be exposed or they will prove me wrong!!
