Agree. I’m happy, as a fan, to have those games be at the beginning of the season. Big question will be the defense. The offense should be in good shape with so many returning.

As someone who has only been loosely following since the season concluded and didn't pay attention to spring practice at all. How are we looking?

Offensively, good. Defense needs some improvement over the summer.

Would be better if Shen Butler-Lawson wouldn't have gone into the portal!

I’m not going to be foolish and say that isn’t a big loss. Because it is. But it’s maybe the one position they were able to absorb an outgoing transfer this late.

Agreed, but losing an All American still sucks....hope he decides against it to be honest

Higher profile I guess, but going to a 1-10 squad only beating Western Illinois last year? Indiana State is the worst MVFC squad at the moment. I still would have picked Tennessee State but his decision not mine!

Good luck to the young man but wouldn’t MSU stomp Indiana State? Going to a team that is going to win a couple of games and be behind constantly. Doesnt sound like a great recipe for a running back to showcase himself.
