Past the half way point of the regular season already...

Minnesota-Duluth at Augustana
Minot State at Wayne State
Minnesota State-Moorhead at Winona State
Nebraska-Kearney at Southwest Minnesota State
Sioux Falls at Minnesota State-Mankato
Concordia-St. Paul at Mary
Bemidji State at Northern State

First three listed are the most interesting. A UMD win should have them at one loss as they host Mankato in the final week and a very good shot at the playoffs, a loss and they are out even if they win out. Augustana still has Mankato and Bemidji and would most likely be in if they win 2 of the 3 big games left (UMD, MSU, BSU).

Can Minot hang in there with Wayne? They have a meat grinder of a schedule the rest of the season, the toughest stretch any team in the conference has all season. Do they go winless the rest of the way or do they pull out one or two?

Moorhead should win this one but after coming off the big win at UMD they had a let down, maybe the same happens here. Interesting stats that I was surprised to see are Strand is 9/10 in the conference in QB Effic, 9/10 in yards per attempt, and 8/10 in completion %. Flip of that is he is #1 in attempts by almost 100 more than #2 and has more completions than all but Massoud have attempts. He definitely torched UMD on the final drive a few weeks ago though. As a Bulldog fan I definitely hope they handle their business here as UMD can take any help it can get with SoS.

You're right - week 0 rule in DII threw me off lol.

They’ve also played a few tough teams so far, making offensive stats appear different than they maybe will at the end of the season.

the fact Minot scored on their 1st drive has completely, changed my opinion about them. If Shields isn't considered for COY, that's a travesty.
