  • Bemidji State -- Congrats

Congrats on a great season and good luck Saturday. Great defense all season long. Two long road trips will be tough, but doable. Coaches deserve kudos considering the talent lost and be able to get to 2nd round of playoffs. Bemidji fans thoughts?

I am more than pleased at what this program has become. Going to school there in the 90s and always having it come down to BSU vs Minnesota-Morris to see who would get their only win on the year..... UGH! Now, being the only D-II program to win a first round game the last four years, satisfying. And with what they lost on offense from last year, surprising. But, the defense always seems to show up, Gang Green!

Beavers defense plus a punishing ground game is perfect for late season football.

Bemidji is upsetting the monopoly that Kato has had on trench play in the NSIC for so long.

And they may have the best defensive line in all of division 2 football.

It’s been an interesting year, starting back in the spring. There were question marks, with the graduation of some studs that played for a long time. The team plays with a nasty edge. They have had significant injuries and set backs and have found guys to step up and they have been creative. Three losses, by 6 points is tough to swallow, but they never gave up the goal of making the playoffs.

We’re leaving in the morning, driving out to Gunnison, Colorado. Cheering on our Beavers and hoping Mankato wins as well. Pulling off a Minnesota sweep of Colorado would be a fun Saturday!

Go Beavers! Go Mavs! Go NSIC!

Really cool. They've built a solid program the last several years.

Thanks! So far, so good…stopped in North Platte Nebraska. Had some questionable roads early, but good later. It will be weird to not have anything close to a normal Thanksgiving

                    have a great trip Friday!

With Co. Mines no longer ruling SR4 the region is there for the taking. I believe both BSU and MSU will leave victorious.

Boy oh boy would that be nice. Looks like CSU’s offense is pretty explosive but we do play solid D in the NSIC!!

Wish I could upload pictures here, the mountains are breathtaking! They had a huge snowstorm here Tuesday and Wednesday. Snow everywhere! Very cold, but the cold doesn’t feel the same and the sun is super helpful.

Keep Nash in the pocket and you’ll have a good chance.
