Another year with only 5 home games and a few long drives as well.

Winona will be a non conference game, the Bulldogs are going to Marquette, MI to scrimmage NMU for their spring game

First time since Upper Iowa has been D2 that we do not have an NSIC team on the schedule. Our non conference is Drake, SD Mines, and Mich Tech

October 25th- Homecoming- Home vs Concordia-St. Paul
November 1st- Away vs Sioux Falls
November 8th- Away vs UMary
November 15th- Home vs Southwest Minnesota State

If above is accurate, I think Duluth will be non conference game week 0 or during that buy week

Years ago I visited the fish hatchery in Spearfish. That was interesting. I'm not sure if it's still around or not.

Deadwood is about 20 minutes from Spearfish. Plenty to do and see there.

Pretty much nailed it. The part of the Black Hills around Custer is my favorite, but there is still plenty to do in the northern Hills. Always fun to go out to the best park of SoDak, West River is best river after all

I almost wish we had another OOC game against Rolla so that we could find out who the best Mining school in D2 is

Agreed at the moment (though I hope for their downfall from the pedestal in like manner as Chadron has fallen), I just didn't say them in that statement since I was talking about out of conference games. If we were to include all of the schools that had 'Mines' in the original name it would be:

• Missouri S&T (Lead/Zinc)
• Colorado School of Mines (Gold/Silver)
• Michigan Tech (Copper/Nickel)
• South Dakota Mines (Gold/Silver)
• New Mexico Tech (Copper/Gold/Silver)
• Montana Tech (Copper/Gold/Silver)
• UTEP (Copper/Tin)

I had to list what they were founded to mine since I have to poke fun at Rolla (S&T) guys since I work with a bunch of them now haha. Setting aside UTEP and New Mexico Tech (unless their rugby team is down), it would actually be a pretty fun round robin. Plus, we could have concrete canoe and formula SAE races at halftime
